Volleyball Faces CCRI in Region 21 Semifinals on Saturday
The Massasoit women's volleyball team earned the No. 3 seed in the Region 21 Tournament and will face No. 2 CCRI on Saturday at 1 PM in a semifinal match on the campus of Northern Essex in Haverhill.
BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The Massasoit women's volleyball team earned the No. 3 seed in the Region 21 Tournament and will face No. 2 CCRI on Saturday at 1 PM in a semifinal match on the campus of Northern Essex in Haverhill.
The other semifinal matchup features top seed and tourney host Northern Essex taking on No. 4 seed Holyoke.
Massasoit closed out the regular season with a 6-5 record, falling in the season finale to Northern Essex.
In league play, the Warriors finished with a record of 4-4, but, fell both times to CCRI 3-1.
The Warriors are the reigning Region 21 Champions, as the last tournament was played back in the fall of 2019.
Massasoit is led by sophomore setter Emmanuella Paul and outside hitter Stephanie Pierre-Louis.
