Late Holyoke Goal Edges Women’s Soccer, 1-0
Holyoke Community College’s Jah’Anesty Dickson netted what proved to be the game-winning-goal in the 84th minute to top the visiting Massasoit women’s soccer team, 1-0.

HOLYOKE, Mass. ---- Holyoke Community College's Jah'Anesty Dickson netted what proved to be the game-winning-goal in the 84th minute to top the visiting Massasoit women's soccer team, 1-0.
Massasoit's record evened up at 3-3 with the loss, and will host Quinsigamond on Tuesday at 4 PM.
Scoring chances were tough to come by between the Warriors and Cougars as the game was in a scoreless deadlock through the first 84 minute, until Dickson's heroics for Holyoke.
Massasoit finished with nine shots, four coming on net, as Anya Welch-Batstone (Avon) tallied four shots for the Warriors.
In net, making just her second start was freshman Shelby Newcomb of Whitman. The freshman finished with eight saves for the Warriors.
