Warriors Fire Past Quinsigamond

Behind a four-goal effort from Amanda Sesock (Whitman) and a hat trick from Betty Blake (Whitman), the Massasoit women’s soccer team captured their fourth straight victory in convincing fashion, 11-1, vs Quinsigamond on Thursday afternoon at Warrior Field.

BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Behind a four-goal effort from Amanda Sesock (Whitman) and a hat trick from Betty Blake (Whitman), the Massasoit women's soccer team captured their fourth straight victory in convincing fashion, 11-1, vs Quinsigamond on Thursday afternoon at Warrior Field.

Sesock's four goals marked a career-high and added an assist. Samantha Baston of Carver was also in on the scoring action, netting a pair of goals and dishing out three helpers in the win.

Anya Welch-Batstone chipped in with two goals and an assist for the Warriors that improved to 7-2-1 overall on the season.

Massasoit takes Friday off before trekking to Southern Maine CC for a 1 PM match on Saturday.
