SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ---- The Massasoit women's soccer team played Springfield Tech to a 1-1 draw in a road contest on Saturday afternoon.
Massasoit (2-3-1) returns to the pitch on Monday, hosting divisional foe Bunker Hill on Warrior Field at 4 PM.
The Warriors produced plenty of scoring chances, but was only able to finish on one of 19 total shots for the game.
The game was knotted up at 0-0 until the 60th minute, when Alexandra Santos (Hanson) collected a through ball pass from Linda Khang (Brockton) to finish for her team-high sixth goal of the season.
The one-goal lead was unfortunately short lived for the visiting Warriors, as STCC (2-2-1) answered right back with its lone goal of the match 65th minute, when Sabrina Provost scored for the Rams.
Leah Kowlski (Whitman) made six saves in net for the Warriors.
